Why you should be working off a check list
The power of task completion
There’s power in working off a list
ONE
When you make a list you can prioritise what needs to be done
TWO
You can see exactly what you need to do that day
That is sometimes enough when you are feeling overwhelmed
It takes the weight off your brain
And puts it in-front of you in the form of a list
THREE
It forces you to work on ONE THING AT A TIME
See my thoughts on the power of single laser focus here:
So how do you create your list the proper way?
firstly
Have a goal
‘I make $10,000 in one month on merch by amazon’
Then List ALL the things you need to do today to get you to that goal the quickest, like:
find a trending niche with low competition
create a shit load of designs
create relevant keywords for listings
upload those designs
Also include other stuff you have to do, but ain’t as important
do laundry
pick up milk
Now prioritise
Which ONE to work on now,
find a trending niche with low competition
And focus solely on that,
When its done,
Cross through it on your list
find a trending niche with low competition
create a shit load of designs
create relevant keywords for listings
upload those designs
Trust me
As soon as you strike through the first task
You’ll feel all warm and fuzzy inside
When you’ve completed your list for the day and it looks like this:
find a trending niche with low competition
create a shit load of designs
create relevant keywords for listings
upload those designs
do laundry
pick up milk
You’ll feel like a champion, a winner
And if you smashed your list within a time limit
You know you’ve done something meaningful towards your goal,
Which is the smartest thing a person can do: meaningful, relevant work towards their goal
And leaves you time to do other shit
Like write newsletters and shit like that
Simple but effective af
