Yesterday I found one of my old journals

When i used to write my goals on paper

This one had my goals from around 2017

6 years ago

Reading over it

I saw that the two main goals that kept coming up was

Making £4.5k in one month profit
Having a good nights sleep

The reason I was setting a goal/wishing for a good nights sleep

Is that i wasn’t sleeping well due to the stress of my marketing business and financial situation

Oh my new born baby daughter didn’t help either

6 years on

I’m getting good sleep

And making more than £4.5k profit a month, while i sleep! (US merch sales)

Back in 2017

There’s no fucking way I would’ve believed i could do that

So what changed?

Opportunity came my way

I recognised opportunity

And that opportunity was internet money

Mostly merch by amazon, but also KDP, etsy, FBA and shopify

Whilst i was slaving away at my marketing business,

I kept my eye on opportunities around

I used to see people on youtube making money in all different ways

And it seemed so easy for them

Whilst i wasn’t sleeping and stressing out for less than £4k a month,

I remember always thinking

There must be an easier way

So i kept my eye on opportunities around

I tried lots of shit

A magazine, bluetooth marketing, design company, digital information products, and some more

Before i found out about dropshipping,

Which brought me to FBA, then shopify, then etsy and ultimately to merch by amazon

The point im making here

Is keep your eyes open for opportunity,

It’s all a round you in your everyday life

BUT its got to fit your goals

And you need to take action on it immediately

Like, test things quick,

Nowadays you can set up an online business in literally minutes,

So theres nothing stopping you testing,

Test quick,

And see what sticks,

As i write this,

My goal in the next 6 years will be to be earning 7 figures a year passive,

I’m constantly on the look out for opportunities that align well with me,

That will help me achieve my goals,

As a result, I’ve started 2 new ecomm businesses this year already,

Partnered up with some good people,

If i win then win,

And vice versa,

If we all lose, then we would’ve learned something to bounce back, pivot and adapt,
