How to get to tier 100
Beginner Merch By Amazon Tips
For the Merch By Amazon starters below tier 100,
anyone stuck at tier 10 or tier 25,
Just yesterday one of my business partners finally tiered up to tier 100,
This is what we did on that account and what you can do too to tier up,
Buy your own shirts
Pretty obvious i know,
But that doesn’t guarantee that you’ll tier up,
One of my other business partners has bought his own shirts and no tier up for 2 months,
But, it makes sense to get some sales on your account so do it,
I’d recommend you get someone you know to buy your shirts,
So at least you have the argument to amazon, that you are actually selling,
And better yet, if you know someone in US, get them to buy it,
Over the years I’ve noticed that the lower tiers that start selling in the US, tier up faster,
Maybe I’m just chatting shit,
But it makes sense as amazon.com is where Amazon want you to be selling. More money right
Remember, MBA is a proper beast of a business once it gets going, so its worth the investment,
Keep your account active
Keep uploading,
Even if you aren’t making sales,
This does 2 things,
It tells amazon you are using your account. (They terminate dormant accounts)
It also gives you a better chance of selling,
If you’re tier 10, i recommend changing ALL your non-selling designs every 10-14 days,
If you are niche hunting properly,
You can make a sale in a few days with no ads, even at tier 10 or 25, I’ve done it,
So give you’re designs a short life span,
Put them in a library and keep uploading fresh designs,
Use the same strategy with tier 25,
If you get a design that sells,
Keep it on there and replace all the others
Forget profit (for now)
It’s not impossible to make profit at tier 10 and tier 25,
When I first started back in early 2019 I did just that,
But now it’ll be a lot more difficult,
With the amount of competition,
I suggest you forget profit,
Look to get profit, real profit, at tier 2000,
Right now you want to get to tier 2k as quick as possible,
When you are tier 2k you’ll have enough slots to have consistent sellers that you can bring the price up to make profit,
You’ll most likely have ads in US too so that’ll help,
But forget all that for now,
Right now you’re only objective is to make sales to tier up
You may need more than 10 or 25 sales to tier up
The account i’m partnered with,
That just got tiered up to 100,
Didn’t have just 25 sales,
It had 47 sales last i checked,
Some of those were shirts the owner bought for himself,
And a few normal sales,
It could just be that amazon are slowing down the tiering process,
Or they only tier up accounts that they feel are making legitimate sales first,
For whatever reason,
Don’t be disheartened if you’ve made your sales quota and still have not tiered up,
Stick to the uploading strategy,
Now and again get someone to buy a few more shirts,
The more the account looks like its making legit sales the better,
Again, MBA is worth $100’s or $1000’s in investment early on,
If you’re serious you’ll make that back easily over the time and then some,
Treat it as a side hustle to start
Don’t get too consumed in getting your account up to $1000’s a month to start with,
Don’t even get consumed with making any money,
Just look at investing time and money to start, (like any worthwhile business)
Just stick to the strategy,
Keep uploading every 10-14 days,
And build your design library,
You will be able to use these designs later on, so make sure you store them properly,
With all the keywords etc,
In the meantime you can use those designs on redbubble and spreadshirt,
Get busy using your designs elsewhere,
And creating more and more,
The designs ARE the assets of the business,
So it’s important you get better and better at that,
And before you know it:
GOOD LUCK!
I’ll be doing some newsletters on niche hunting and keywording,
Make sure you subscribe so you don’t miss it 👊
