5 Things I would do if I started MBA again

This’ll help you scale your MBA account

5 things i would do if i started MBA again

Hindsight is a wonderful and annoying af thing,

This might help plant some seeds in your head,

IF i could go back to when I started MBA this is 5 things i would definitely do, so that my income would be a lot more than it is now,

You can apply these now and thank me in 3 years,

1. Fatten your sub niches to infinity

If you’re wondering wtf this means,

When you find a shirt selling well in a sub niche,

For example,

Instead of a ‘dad that loves fishing’ shirt,

You created a ‘dad that loves fishing and wine’ or some shit,

Then I would go nuts with the fattening of this,

I.e. i would do 100+ (tier dependant) with that quote that is selling

And then fatten it up to ‘dad that loves fishing and beer’

..fishing and golf

..fishing and football

Etc etc

Its boring as fuck,

But a necessary part of a solid mba scaling strategy,

You’re hoping that one of those sub niches will take off

And you will be at the top of it

Imagine you are the first shirt to have a dabbing unicorn,

When no one else was thinking of it,

And you created 1000 different styles,

When that took off you’d be grabbing a massive chunk of the market,

And thats whats happened with my hero products,

Because my design/quote was different to everything else: it was a sub niche of a big niche,

When it got popular I was ahead of the trend,

If only I fattened it up more I’d have even more of that trend,

Fatten that niche up!

And there is no limit to how fat you make it,

Only how much work you’re willing to put in

2. Focus and appreciate the potential

If i could go back,

I would’ve put all my eggs in one basket for the first 2 years,

I would’ve worked on MBA and ONLY MBA for that time,

All working hours on creating designs and jumping on niches,

Even learning more about ads, which I’m still crap at,

When I started MBA I had another business with employees that had some of my attention,

Also I jumped on etsy and kdp,

Had I just focused on MBA,

Decided I would fully commit and make it work no matter what,

I’d be killing it even more by now,

As I would have twice the designs on my account and in good niches,

I didn’t appreciate the potential of MBA,

At the time I think I saw some people making 5k+ in a month and that was amazing,

Now I’ve made nearly 20k in a month and seen sellers get close to 100k,

Had someone told me back then, that if I FOCUS on my mba, I can make 20-100k in 2-3 years,

Plus a chance of good income along the way,

I would have put everything into MBA only,

3. Keep working

When i started selling on MBA

Its easy to get complacent,

Its hard work getting an account selling consistently,

But once its gets going,

And the money is pouring in with little effort,

You can believe your own hype,

You think it’ll never end,

That the sales will keep coming thick and fast,

You can forget thats theres 1000’s of other mfkers,

Like you, reading this newsletter,

That also want to make money on MBA,

(There’s plenty to go around btw)

You can’t get too happy with your success,

Because inevitably, your sales will drop,

So the best cure for this,

Don’t focus on the results of your account (the income)

Focus on the inputs (the work)

And let the results take care of themselves

And this is sometimes VERY hard,

When your account is making a lot of passive income,

Its hard to stay in hustle mode,

Coz lazy mode kicks in,

In 2021 i made over $120k profit on just my merch account,

I took my eye of that account in 2022 and thought it would continue,

Result: 2022 I made just under $100k profit on that account,

I made up the difference with my other businesses and NFT’s,

But I could have had both AND even grown my MBA account more,

So, no matter what,

Keep working,

Rain or shine,

Keep working,

Have a strategy that requires you to upload X amount each week and stick to it

4. Don’t look at others

Ignore all those fakers on FB and IG posting their results,

Kind of rich coming from me, while I post my income on instagram,

But it depends on how you react to seeing others do well,

If it inspires you then all good,

If you can see there is a lot of potential from seeing other people make lots of money, then all good,

If you get annoyed or pissed, then not good,

My advice,

Don’t bother looking at other sellers,

I don’t see the point,

If you can’t motivate yourself regardless of external factors, then your fkd long term anyway,

If you can motivate yourself, and you’re looking to motivate yourself regardless of external factors,

Then it doesn’t matter if you’re checking what others are doing or not,

Stay in YOUR lane,

Try out different shit,

And when it starts working,

Repeat and scale,

My strategies may work for me,

But they may not work for you,

Thats why in my coaching calls I get an idea of how it is they work,

So I can create a strategy thats suit them,

MBA isn’t a complicated business,

Sure its difficult sometimes to make money,

But the way to make money on MBA is simple,

So you don’t need a shit load of info really,

You just need to start, and adjust as you go along,

In fact I would go as far to say,

That if you are looking at others often, like I did when it started,

It actually slows down your action,

As you get too much influence, and you’re always second guessing,

So if you MUST see what others are doing,

Pick and choose who you listen to,

And just choose a couple of people and thats it,

Then get to work

5. Stay Busy

I’ve saved the best for last,

By far, THE BEST thing i have decided to do recently,

Is stay busy,

Why?

Because our brain is constantly thinking,

Creating new ideas,

Mulling over outcomes if I do XYZ,

Playing out different scenarios,

Analysing this and that,

That’s what i was doing at the start of my years in MBA,

Always thinking, planning, strategising then action,

I would say it was maybe 50/50, thinking/action,

And tbh, all the thinking and planning is good, but

most of it is NOT moving me towards my goals,

As its not action,

The cure for this,

Taking a LOT of action,

And I’m talking grant cardone 10x levels,

He seems like the sort of guy that has a hyper active brain too,

Probably why he likes staying busy,

Since I’ve decided to stay super busy, (mostly this year,)

I’ve had less time to think things through,

As I’m already actioning them,

When you stay so busy,

Action becomes your best friend NOT planning,

When you have a fast workflow and you’re always ready to work,

New ideas come into your workflow,

You take action,

You know if they are working or not,

And you know fast,

I’m smashing out 10x more designs that i was doing when I started,

Which had i done when I started, i would be absolutely killing it now,

No doubt,

As most of those designs would be deeply ranked,

Being busy is discipline,

You have to learn to love doing the boring daily tasks,

And just do it,

One quote from brian tracy stuck in my head,

He said something along the lines of,

‘Keep your head down and work, work, work and when you lift your head you’ll realise that you’re a millionaire’

Stay busy on the work,

Focus on the inputs,

And then later on check your results: $$$$$$$

One life, and this isn’t a rehearsal,
